City Square, Johor Bharu commands the entrance into Johor from Singapore by the causeway. The Tower was constructed on a piled raft more than 12m below existing ground level and adjacent river when in flood. The Tower was formed on a floor grid of 12m centres. The adjacent podium was also constructed on raft though thinner. Flat slab with banded beams were selected to give the optimal structural layout for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services.
